I can`t believe how god my new tele works in my bands sound !!!
I`m a humbucker kinda guy and expected that my new tele would be a bit to bright
when playing hard rock...hmmmm it`s bright but it sounds freaking amazing on most songs we play. I just had to let it out since this whole tele thing took me by surprise...my first one :)
I`m soooooo glad i can use it for other stuff than just studio sessions
FTR: i`m talking JD in the bridge here

Ha, just wait till you try a tele with humbuckers! I'll never even look at another guitar.

I'm so glad you said that! I'm just about to put a JD in the bridge of my Tele. Now I really can't wait.

JD is good in the bridge but can be bright in combo with the APTR in the neck it creates a great sound.

Sounds cool Bro, I've always wanted a tele, but other guitars keep getting in my way, someday I'll build one. Anyway, glad to hear the tele works ...rock on!

Tele's are like... Being revived right now. Yes.... Jump on the bandwagon quick before everyone else does. ;)

That`s the thing :D,it took me 17 years to get one..hehe

My bucker guitars sounds great but this is so different,well i have played teles before but just don`t in a band situation :) I`m not counting my tele deluxe(2 hb) as a tele ;)

I so need to get another Tele. Sold my last one 20 years ago and have spent much of that time regretting it. I was playing my keyboard player's MIM Tele at band practice the other night and fell in love with it. I don't think there's any music I want to play that couldn't be done with a Tele. It's such a beautiful guitar - it has everything you need and nothing more.

I want a tele quite badly... Well, more so, I want the John 5 sig tele... But I will have to make do with an Epi Les Paul outfitted with similar pickups, because it's about $4-500 less. Ha!

Hmm Tele's and Rock & Roll. It worked for Keith Richards and many other rockers for a lot of years.
The tone of the Tele seems to work with lots of bands especially ones where you need to be able to cut through the mix.
