Some of you may have seen my last post, about my new G&L.
I'm selling one G&L to buy another, so it's like an even trade. 0 spent.
I still can't believe I scored this $1300 mint G&L Legacy Deluxe with Duncans for $750!
No sooner do I score that, but one of my favorite "cheap guitars" comes up for sale. DeArmonds were Guilds entry level line in the mid 90's, till Fender bought Guild and discontinued the DeArmond line. Too bad, because they were a real 'sleeper guitar.' They were among the first high quality Korean made guitars, and the quality was often equal to Guild, especially the one I just bought for $275 !!!!! I sold a couple worthless sets of Gibson pickups to pay for the whole guitar and case. And the pickups are worth keeping in these DeArmonds. The hardware is two-tone chrome/gold, and it's a better guitar than most Japanese LP copies. I can't wait to get this one!
