Yeah, I'm just not seeing the value of two 30-watters jerry rigged together in a large box. It's not like the 100 watt heads are super hard to find. A small 30 watt VS head may have been neat though!

I did something similar, many years ago, with a couple of my Lab Series amps. I had two L5 combos, and I knocked the baffle out of one of them, and mounted the other amp, in the same cabinet, underneath the existing one. They were pretty bruised, and battered, and neither even had original speakers, so, I didn't feel too guilty about it. I had several others, that were in great shape, and wouldn't ever think of doing that to them.
