Holy Grail Adaptor: Negative or Positive Tip?

I believe it is a 1/8 plug, but does it take a positive or negative center one? I need to know because of a multi-adaptor I just purchased that has the 1/8 but it is a positive center.

All it says on their websit is "9DC-500 power supply included". Try sending an e-mail to Electro Harmonix and to the maker of your power supply.

There is a post on this about reverb pedals. Chops doesn't like the HG because of the non-standard power. I'm pretty sure it is proprietary, I just don't know which way.

*note to self....be careful with power for Holy Grail verb....

I have an EH Small Clone with a 1/8" power plug. I use the adapter that came with my Godlyke set and I'm pretty sure it's negative tip.

Thats what i have, the godlyke set and the 1/8 is positive tip.

If you own a DVM with a continuity or diode checker in it, one way to tell if a pedal has a positive tip or negative input jack is to get a plug of the style required. Either 1/8th or barrel style, and cut of the cord leaving about 3 inches of cord. Strip the leads so you can use the DVM. You'll have to know which lead goes to the tip. Plug it into the pedal, and set the DVM to continuity test, and touch each lead in turn to the bared leads of the plug, and to the negative lead from the battery clip.
Since the ground will be common for both, you should read a short or the DVM should "beep" thus letting you know you have either a negative tip or positive tip pedal.
If this isn't clear, maybe someone can explain it better.
