I went to my local GC today to molest some gear.. Im playing some LPs, Including a used white LP custom.. Im playing it and accoustically, it sounds kinda plinky.

As Im getting ready to leave, I see a Czech made Dean Evo. pick it up and woooow.... Heavy, solid, no plink. The notes just resonated in the body. Big stinging notes... Big tasty frets and a Duncan of some sort in the bridge.. The top was pretty bland, but omg did it feel good..

If the Duncan was stock, it was a PG. Czech Deans are criminally underrated.

Ill have to go to GC and snap a shot or two.. not sure Ill have the gas to drive over there tommorrow.. Im not close. Sheesh... calling me Iceman over something I dont even own.. haha

cool! that online?? I didnt have gas to get over there.. barely made it to work.. they wont budge on the price, but Dang its a nice player..

Yea, that was online. Supposedly they can't adjust used prices until they've had the item for 3 months. It's Corporate's rule, or so I've been told, and the item is logged in their computers so they really can't change them. After that, they tend to drop the prices significantly... sometimes.

the wonders of the net.. haha.. Ive heard on forums for years about people scoring amazing deals at GCs, but the one near me wont do squat. They wouldnt come off the price a tele I wanted once that had a really nasty chunk out of the edge like it had been dropped.. Told me they would rather ship it to the warehouse for credit...
