This came up on Facebook, and I thought someone else would snipe it. Turns out, I emptied out my reserve gear funds to get it. It needs some work, and tubes, mods removed, and bias adjust added in. It distorts very ugly right now because someone tried to increase the gain way too much. I think I can make it something special, though.

It's an early 70's Ampeg V2.

I need to replace all the electrolytics in it, also. I think it has just sat a bit too long. I'm thinking this will be a perfect BIG doom amp for me.

Curious to know what you got it for. I haven't priced them.

Since you know what you're doing, I'm sure you can find a schematic and restore it to new spec.

Already found a place that supplies the capacitors in a kit. So i need not even scroll through a list. Just have to wait until next paycheck. I am going to throw the o-scope on it anyway.
