I'm planning my next DIY build - another Bogen PA converted to a TMB 18 Watter. This one will be a 1/4 stack - I'll keep the Bogen enclosure and put it on a slant-front 2x12 cab.
I've seen some red Marshalls lately that have me really stirred up - there a gorgeous red JMP-50 w. 8x10 cab pictured in Dave Hunter's book. Also, one of our forum bros recently bought a red JMP 2204 head. (Who was that? I couldn't find it.)
Anyway, I'm deciding on the color scheme for this new rig. All included a Marshall-style brushed gold control panel. One would keep the Bogen head it's standard grey, with a red logo stripe and a red cab. The second is all-out red - Bogen repainted red and a red cab. The last is the "too much red" option - grey head with normal black cab.
Whadda ya think?
