Well Im just going to put this out there in case anyone might be interested in this kind of thing.
Heres a Soft Maple bodied neck Thru Superstrat with fat slab rosewood board. Big fat tall frets in excellent conditon. I just had the frets levelled and the guitar set up( cost 85.00) and the action is very low. And the guiatr plays like Butter( or is that "buttah"?).
Guitar has an original Floyd Rose Tremolo in 100% operational condition and a D-Tuna on it.Tuners and Locking nut are fully operational and have no issues whatsoever.
The Floyd has very light tension, and Im thinking it could be heavier by getting heavier screws( Regular bridge tremolo screws were used ) and then adding springs and backing the travel of the claw out, but I dont know how that works. In any case the trem system plays just fine and dives like hell, and has some up travel, and stays in tune without issue.
Cosmetically, I Tung Oiledthe guitar about 6-8 times .
The wood around the trem was partially filled and wood glued/ Clamped after a moderate split, but is solid as a rock and will remain so.
Pickups are Dimarzio SuperD bridge and Dimarzio Air Classic neck. The guitar sounds really really good with these pickups.Plays fast.
The OFR was never my favourite Floyd though, because where I rest my hand on the bridge I lawys hit the fine tuners, so I prefer a guitar with the JT580 LO PRO. Otherwise I'd keep this.
The guiatr looks prety nice, but the tongue oil wasnt apllied professionally, but its definitly protected and has a nice sheen. Its set up with 9 gauge strings and is a real shredders delight!
IM basically wondering if anybody wants to trade something for this. I'm open to interesting ideas as far as trades or partial trades for other other guiatars , amps or
effects.Ive got too much money into this thing, so I dont want to ask a selling price.
It really is a pretty darn nice players guitars , even though its not exactly "beautiful".
