Hot For teacher

Ive been trying to play the intro/solo to hot for teacher, by van halen. The Main riff/chorus is dead easy, but the solo's arggg. All the tabs i have seen are wrong ( they pretty much play the intro solo on the one string, instead of 3 like eddy does) any tips guys, or where i can find an accurate tab?

there should be accurate tabs of this in old issues of any of the top guitar magazines that have tab

I have a full proper transcription of the song in an old issue of total Guitar.try get a hold of October 2004 issue..Id scan it for ya but i dont hav a scanner!

Crap! See the intro is played on A/D/G strings, but this tab i found its just on a string, wich is not right damnit!

I don't know that song and how the tab looks like, but maybe you can just break it up and play the higher notes on the higher strings?

yeah thats what imtrying to do, its just frustrating, cause the tab says to ' pull off' on each note, and it doesnt sound right on the a string, but with the others it does (but my fingers arnt fast enough, or i'm not playing it right)
