I will buy a mexican standard stratocaster and would like to install 2 seymour duncan hot rails. 1 in bridge and 1 in neck position.
Could someone help me.
I have looked at seymours website but cant figure out which schematic to use.
Do I need to flip the magnet on the fender pickup?
Or do I need to flip it on the hotrails?
Please help me!

Um, Im pretty sure thats not going to help, you'll need another humcanceling pickup in the middle.

Vintage rails would do good for you.

Re: Hot rail / Fender single coil / Hot rail

You would only need to reverse the wires of the Fender, so that it'll be in-phase with the HR's. It won't be humcancelling, but Strats usually aren't. ;)
However, it should sound great. Perhaps later, you may try a Duncan in the middle. A VR, or a Cool Rails, (wired in parallel), would be a great choice.

And, welcome to the forum.
