Hot rails bridge in neck position?

How would a hot rails bridge sound in the neck? I have one lying around without a purpose right now and I have a HSS guitar that potentially needs a humbucker in the neck. How would it sound? Or would it be too much?

probably be pretty dark and muted. in parallel it might be great though. i have a dmz fast track 2 in the neck of a hss hamer 24 fret and it sounds great in parallel but in series its pretty much only good for soloing with a fair amount of distorion

Yeah, I'd say it would have balance problems with any of the other pickups, and be all mids. Go ahead and try it, it might be something you like. You can wire it in parallel, and that might help. And, it is free!
