Hot Rails in Tele bridge with major feedback issues

I recently bought a Tele with Hot Rails in the bridge and I love the guitar and the overall tone. My only issue is that it has a microphonic sounding feedback at loud volumes and when I use a compressor along with distortion. When I switch to the neck pickup the issue disappears. Is it possible that this is a wiring issue? Any suggestions that might fix this?

doubt its a wiring issue but i suppose its possible. its probably either the pup (not potted properly), the bridge itself or a tube if you are using a tube amp. what is the neck pup? the hot rails with distortion and a compressor sounds like a ton of signal being fed into the amp

I think the neck pickup is the standard American stock one. I have a PRS McCarty Single Cut running through the same rig and no issues. Would the Hot Rails have higher out put than the PRS humbuckers? I am totally new to these pickups.

it might. its has a ton of output for a single coil size pup and its very mid focused

I had a problem similar to this with a Lil 59 in a Tele. I had to pack the pickup cavity with foam to stabilize the pickup and the feedback went away

Also, compressing an already boosted pickup and using a ton of gain can cause squealing with any pickup. Use less severe compression, or less gain.
