Anyone ever use this combo?

I just refurbed a rare kramer showster savant and wired it with this combo orange drop cap cts pots for 80s shred.and i gotta say it is a killer combo.
maple body superstrat with a maple neck rosewood board, Wired up with a 3 way switch and 3 way mini to coil split either pickup or none.

The balance is excellent. neither overwhelms the other and they mix nicely.
they both split extremely well i feel.

anyone else use this combo? what are your thoughts on the pairing?

I have a guitar with HS configuration!! I have a Hot Rails in the neck paired with a Nazgul in the bridge. Before I used to pair the Hot Rails with a Custom!! Like very much both combos!!

IMO, the Hotrails is the best Single Coil sized pickup Seymour Duncan makes...it is so versatile and sounds incredible in so many combos

I'd like to build a guitar was HS and use the PATBs. That might be next.

There was a dude selling a sketchy 80's Jackson San Dimas (serial numbers and descriptions weren't quite adding up) that had those in it. I nearly bought it but after posting about it in the Jackson forum there were enough red flags to make me not go that route.

But I think the PATBs would be awesome in the HS setup!

That sucks. I love the HS configuration. There's nothing like a single coil in the neck, stacked or not.
