I'm new of this forum, i'm not English so, exuse me if maybe you see a bad english in me
lets go to the problem.
I'm building a new guitar,completely handmade. Obviously i can't "create" pickup, and i'm forced to buy them.
I'm building a guitar with fender form, And I decided what want to use as pickups. Of seymour ducan I want to use absolutely an humbucker, that is JB model Sh4 for bridge position. For the middle position I've a very very very big problem, because its the first time who i Build a guitar, and as a jazz musician i'm improvising :bandit:
for middle position I want to use an Hot rails shr-1. But i still dont know if it can be used for middle position....Seymour duncan official site tell that this pick up is anavaible for middle,neck and bridge position, but when i go to buy it ( absolutely online ) the seller always informs that the pickup is when for bridge and when for neck....so... until now i have not seen somebody who tell : this is an HOT RAILS! and you can use for middle position baby!....
I began to wonder....maybe its impossible? or maybe the neck/bridge hot rails can be used the same for middle position? ( I hope it :13: )
If hot rails cant be used for middle position, could somebody give me an advice? I need a pickup very sensible.... that sounds even when step the finger on the strings without using a pick or an hand!
