Hot Rails Tele STHR-1 - Question

I'm thinking of trying a Duncan Hot Rails STHR-1 in my Tele. The body of my Tele is Ash.

I'd like to fatten up the sound a little and add some more punch and harmonics. The type of music I like to play is Rock, Hard Rock, Van Halen, and some Metal.

My preferred regular sized HB pickups are Dimarzio Super Distortion and Tone Zone. I have a JB in the bridge of my Jackson SL2H and I like the harmonics but don't care for the overall sound of that pickup. I've tried EMGs as well and liked the 85 but not the 81 as much.

I know this has been asked before, but in a Tele will the Hot Rails get me close in sound to a full sized HB?

Is there a HB that the Hot Rails compares to in sound?

In your opinion, irrespective of manufacturer which single coil sized pickup sounds the closest to a full sized HB?

You could get a DMZ Tone Zone S or Super Dist S
That would probably get you closest...

I have the hot rails on my strat, has great distortion and stills have the strat vibe with the maple neck.
