Hot Rails vs TwangBanger

i currently have a hot rails in my strat, but ive always wanted to try out the twang banger. Which do you guys prefer?

that is like asking what you like better...an apple or a steak. The Twangbanger sounds like an early 50's Tele while the Hotrails sounds like a very modern hot humbucker...

What sounds are you trying to get?

For vintage sounds and a whole lot more, Twangbanger all the way. I just intalled mine and it's simply incredinle.

for modern metal and rock sounds, go hot rails.

IMO, the Twangbanger is alot more versatile, and the cleans are much much better.

It really depends on what YOU want.

If you're primarily a hard rocker looking for a pickup to overdrive the daylights out of a Marshall go for the Hot Rails.

If you're a versatile and refined player who's into alot of styles besides hard rock, like blues or country, and you're needing a pickup with a 50's Tele personality but which will still push your amp into overdrive more easily than a vintage Strat pickup, go for the Twangbanger.
