Hot Singles For My '99 Usa Strat

What are the most popular hotter true single coils for a strat. I know I probably can't have my cake and eat it but I would like to still be able to get that "strat" sound.

Not sure how they sound but you could get SSL-5 custom staggered tapped, that way you get the hotter sound and then you can use a push-pull pot to tap the coil down to a vintage strat sound. In theory of course, I wouldn't take my word for it, I'm not completely sure of what I'm talking about with some of this pickup stuff :smack:

The Quarter Pound is also pretty hot. It can stand its own against some pretty aggressive humbuckers as well.

And its also tappable for a near vintage strat sound.

I would say to definitely check out the ssl line. Some are very hot and all have a Stratty sound.

The tapped QPs may really be a good idea... I think Artie has them in, but I'm not sure...
