Hot Stack pickups...

First time here so I apologize for my ignorance. Im putting a hot stack pickup at middle position on my strat. I just wanna know if the hot stack is single coil or humbucker. If its a humbucker, can I wire it as a single coil only? Thanks in advance!

welcome to the forum!

the hot stack is a stacked humbucker. you can wire it as a single coil by using the black wire as hot (to the switch or volume) and the white and bare wires to ground. you should probably ground the red and green wires as well so the bottom coil doesnt add any noise
