how a JB for a HSS Strat with S1 switch?

I´m thinking about placing a JB humbucker in the bridge of my strat. I play with an engl screamer 50w. I´m thinking about putting kinman woodstock single coils on neck and middle pickups, I really want to try those.
I really would like to know if I can get good palm muting sounds when using high gain. I don´t play trash, but I do play hard rock or things like gun´s´n roses, would it be powerful enought?

I´m from Madrid (Spain) so my english is not good enought to talk about sounds, it sucks!

i think a jb is a good choice for harder rock and well as a variety of other styles and will probably match up well with the kinmans.
