How about a Hot Rod Telecaster build with Antiquities!?

I am enjoying my surfer loaded Strat so much that I am thinking of doing a partscaster Tele to go along with it. I currently have a neck and the body is on the way. I would like to do a Hot Rod style because I have never really liked the traditional Tele neck pickup.

Since I went with the alnico 5 pickups in my strat I was thinking about sticking with alnico 2 pickups in this build. The antiquity tele bridge with flat poles caught my eye cause the neck I have is a flatter radius. I was thinking about the A2 antiquity II mini humbucker for the neck, but I am now a but worried it might not be a good match with the bridge pickup. Perhaps louder or to thick to blend nicely with the bridge model.

Anyone out there have any Hot Rod tele wisdom they can share? Hotter bridge? Weaker Neck? I like the modern rock-ish country style tele sounds and was thinking this would be my guitar to have some fun with those tones, just thinking out loud! :?:
