How about Hybrid brands pup set?

If I would like to equip my LP with a hybrid set of pups from Seymour Duncan & Dimarzio, since they are both of big fame, would the result seem to be satisfacting anyway?

And if you were me, what could probably be your choice then?

Thanks guys!

I've had good results using a 59n with a Super Distortion in my Hamer Special.

I play mostly rock, along the vein of STP, Collective Soul, and REM.

As far as my rig, I run through a GT-8 into a power amp and a pair of 2x12 cabs (a Marshall JCM C212 and a Vox Buckingham).

Thanks for responses guys! How do you like Alex Skolnick and Eric Peterson from Testament. Alex used dimarzio, ibanez, and marshall, while Eric used Duncan, Dean, and Mesa Boogie. I really appreciate their unique thrash metal sound. And Return To Serenity is one of my favoraites. Do you know how to approach the solo tone of that song?
