How are mighty mite necks comparable to others like warmoth?

Re: How are mighty mite necks comparable to others like warmoth?

The Mighty Mights are ok but expect to have to do some fret dressing. Warmoth's on the other hand are a lot better. I've never had to do any fret dressing after receiving from them. Good solid necks. If you like the Fat contour then go for the Warmoth. It's 1" thick from 1st to 22nd fret. Check out their web site for more details.

I wouldn't buy one. They're kind of crude and feel like they skipped the final phase of finishing before being sold. I think you're somewhat safe with their hardware and bodies, but I'd probably buy a Warmoth, USA Custom, or grab an American Std neck off Ebay, or something. Actually, I prefer buying American strat necks that came off a guitar, because they're all setup and ready to go. You don't need to spend more on a nut and filing. It'll save you some headaches.

They are OK if you are buddies with a tech LOL!!!! They are OK at best out of the box but, I have made them into some killer peices with attention to details with the frets and finishing!!!!! A slab of wood is a slab of wood to me!!! I can make it to what ever I want and do what ever I want. Warmoth isnt much different in my opinion!!! There QC is more consistant but, they still need a leveling and detail work done to them. MM necks usually need the same exact thing!!! Once in a while you will get a real turd with a MM though!

BTW, for the difference in quality vs. price, I would almost pick up a mightly mite over a Warmoth if I wasnt a luthier!!!!

USACG necks are the best part necks out there hands down!!!!
