How bout some vintage Laney sounds....

Cold winters make for lots of clips to record...lol Nothin else to do on a chilly Saturday.

This is a KLIPP era Laney L60 head that I just got in trade with a friend from England. I sent him an Ampeg head as I have wanted an old Laney for years. This amp has lower mids than a Marshall and is not quite quite as glassy on the top. Not at all a bad thing at all, as I love different tones. When compared to my tweaked Laney AOR 100, this amp has its own specific voice where as the AOR was definately out to make Marshall noise. I don't plan on getting rid of the AOR, as I really like that amp as well.

Messin with an 83 Ibanez Roadstar loaded with a HighOrder 8.3 A2.

That's a nice 3-D tone you're getting, man. Very dynamic with lots of harmonics. I like it.

Thanks for checking it out.

It sounds great in the room, I plan on recording my next tune with it, set with bass and drums, it should find its place a bit better.

Post it when you do. I'm not that familiar with Laney amps and would like to hear it in context.
