How can I come up with $1500 really quick?

I went to a concert last night and the headlining band "Need to Breathe" had an amp on stage that (for once) I didn't know what was. Turns out that it is a hand wired totally pimp amp made by a local builder. It's a ****son Spitfire. That freaking amp was one that caught my ear from the 1st note played. I asked them about it afterwards and turns out it's for sale. I talked with the guitarist about it for about 30 minutes. Now I have serious GAS for it!!

I thought ****son Amps were based our of North or South Carolina...are they even still around??? I don't think their website has been online in a while now...

Is ****son Amps still in business??? What is the topology of a Spitfire? The only ****son Amps I know of are clones of Fenders and Marshalls...FWIW, I would not pay $1500 for it but if you dig it...

Obviously its all personal and subjective, but what is the reputation of this guy? I mean has he been doing this for a long time does he have regular long lasting clients? for 1500 handred dollars you can get a lot of good half stacks.

Nah I am burned out on amps for now. I have a cool amp coming from Scott so all I need is yet another amp. I only have one electric so I have had guitar GAS for a while.
