edit/extend/merge/loop a sound file?

I am working on a Windows MovieMaker project, and the sound file is not long enough. I would like to cut part of the original file and loop it/paste it at the end.

I have Cakewalk Pro Audio 9, audiograbber, and Musicmatch software.

I know that I used one of them to shorten an audio clip from a CD, but I can't remember how I did it.

Suggestions?

Sorry I couldn't help you in the other thread - I suspect we have different types of Cakewalk software

Do you have a Wave editor with any of that? You can grab and copy with that I believe

I know it can be done. I'm just not very proficient with it.

I think I edited using a different program before, though.

All I want to do is copy part of the track and paste it at the end (kind of a loop) to extend the length of the tune to match the slide show.
