How Can one Distinguish one Blackout Model vs Another?

Is there a way to tell just by looking at it?

I don't see any model designations like Duncan puts on their passives.

EMTYs have a big S, so you can definetly distinguish that one

Re: How Can one Distinguish one Blackout Model vs Another?

Yeah, but Livewires, AHB-1 and AHB-2 all look alike.

Re: How Can one Distinguish one Blackout Model vs Another?

They should all have a sticker on the back side indicating model number. Much like the passives do. The old LiveWires are another story... They have coloured rings on the lead wire to tell them apart.

No such luck.

Just got off the phone with tech support.

I was told they are not Livewires, but there is no way to know if they are AHB-1s or 2s.

Frank, Evan, anyone who is listening...It would be great if you labeled the model of these pickups somehow.

I can help, the AHB2 have a second jumper on the bottom to set the output level, also mine is marked BLKOUT-HVY-METAL-B-HB and there is no neck model for the AHB2.

You have the AHB1 set there.
