Yeah.....I've always found them dead and lacking in overall tone...good for backups but not much else.
I've tried various brands but always come back to the EB 10s/11s. Much better for cleans and are just more "alive" out of the box and stay alive for the longest IMO.
IME, they're just ok strings - every set I've played, the tone dies in a matter of days. Can't beat 'em for cost efficiency though...
