How do I install this?

I have a Seymour Duncan JB and a Twangbanger for my Squier 51, which has just 1 push-pull volume knob and a rotary pickup selector. How do I install these 2 pickups? What do I connect the Twangbanger to, and how do I connect them both to the volume pot, so that the JB can be coil-split? I've looked at SD's schematics, but I'm new at this, so...

(My dad has soldering skills but no guitar knowledge)

Are the stock electronics still hooked up? If so, follow the leads from the pickups and note where they go (i.e. which post on the pickup selector). It's probably pickup to selector to volume.

Can you describe the push-pull pot, such as the number of posts, or perhaps take a picture? That'll give folks an idea of which type of switch it is and how it should be wired.

The PP pot looks like that...
