Re: how do i load a song in garageband from itunes?

- Locate your show in iTunes

- Click on it and hold down the mouse button

- Have a new project open in Garageband

- Move the cursor over to Garageband

- Release the mousebutton

... normally called dragging and dropping :)

  1. Locate the sound file in Finder or iTunes (I'm assuming it's in MP3 or AAC format).
  2. Single-click on the sound file, but don't let go of it.
  3. Use cmd-Tab to navigate to GarageBand (which should be open already and ready with a blank new project).
  4. Drop the sound file in the track area of GarageBand.
I'm working on my office PC right now. Otherwise, I'd go through it step-by-step with screen shots for you.
