how do i rewire my pickup back so its humbucking?

I took apart some pickups and threw em in a box all apart, i didnt have time to finish. I want to put them back to humbucking but i forgot how they were wired. Each coil has a black and a red. Do i put both black together? use each red as the ground and signal?

Also i noticed the magnet has a white stripe on it, is the white stripe the top? like say they are in the guitar, and the guitar is standing up, the white side touches the poles should it be up?

Well, to put them in series (the way they're supposed to be) put the black and red between them together, then use the other leads...
