I recently picked up (get it?) a set of black winters as a birthday present for a friend of mine, to put in a relatively low-end GIO Ibanez. I'm something of an amateur tech and have a little bit of experience in changing pups (i had actually swapped out the god-awful stock pups from this very guitar several years ago when it belonged to my brother, but i never thought i would be changing them again.) but the wiring diagram that came with the set doesn't account for an HSH configuration nor for a 5-way switch and i really don't want to have to bring this to guitar center, as i already spent $200 on the pups themselves and really don't need to spend another $50. The guitar itself is a GIO Ibanez GRG170DX with an HSH configuration and a 5-way selector switch, master volume and master tone.
assuming these pictures uploaded in order, the first 3 are the initial layout, before i began work (this time) and the last two are whats left after i disconnected the bridge and neck pups
