How do Ibanez 5 way switches compare with Fender ones wiringwise?

I've got an Ibanez S970 that I'm rewiring from scratch (long story short, impossible to figure out grounding problems = me starting from the ground up), and I have NO idea how these switches work in comparison to Fender style switches. I don't think they're standard wired, which is why I'm asking.

Ibanez has used a wide variety of selector switches. Some five-way selectors are very basic, two-pole, eight terminal affairs. Others have up to twenty four terminals spread across dual PCBs. The track patterns make some mightily clever coil combinations.
