How do you do this harmonic thing?

Occurs at the end of the intro, on the B7 chord. I've tried to produce these harmonics but cant get the right pitches.

I'm assuming its in standard tuning (it sounds like it is to my ears)

Anyone know how its done???

I think it's this:

B|-*7
G|-*7
D|-*7

All in one downstroke... however, this is my first attempt ever at playing anything by ear, so I'm probably off base.

Yeah, Misty is a nice tune

I think you can do it with the harmonics on the 7th fret. Put your finger lightly on the fret and do a rake (I think it's called like that) from the a-string up to the b-string. (one big downstroke)

Yeah i tried that..but it doesnt sound the same as the mp3 does. The pitches are off i think.

I know what you mean. Some of the pitches sound identical, though, so perhaps he's sweeping a more complex shape than a simple bar?

kinda sounds like he might just be strumming the 12th fret harmonics, i guess it depends on the tuning he's playing in though
