How do you mark your guitar cases?

I have too many similar looking or identical cases.

I used to mark the contents with sharpie script on painter's tape, but now after a few years it's all faded and unreadable.

How do you do it? First-world problem, I know.

I put stickers on them.

I can just tell. Only the Gibsons can get a bit tricky, but I can typically tell the difference

I don't. Mine all have a different case. When I had 2 of the same type/color gig bag for a couple, I used different colors zip ties. Luckily I had a blue one that matched my Warmoth build and that's how I knew that one was in the gig bag.

Gray tweed is the black Tele
Solid black is the black Strat
Solid brown is the sunburst Strat

Luggage tags. They have a pocket for a card, and attach to the case with a silicone lanyard.

I would like markings not on the handle, but on top when the guitar is upright.

Mine are all different. I only really use gig bags, but those are all different, too.

Is your label maker using thermal paper? Does that actually last without fading?

Running a Dynamo and so far no issues. I'm just using the white with black font.

GIg bags always. I have a double and a single which is more than enough for my needs. The studio is the only place I use 3 guitars, the double is typically my go to.

And two of them are spray painted with a band logo or the name of the guitar.

Most of my guitars are in gig bags albeit decent ones. With 50+ guitars, cases take up way too much space & my place is a mess already. Finding the guitar I'm looking for is often a huge PIA. The tag idea is probably a good one that I should try....
