How does a Alnico 2 pro neck and a jb sound split?

I ask because i'm going to put those pickups in a carvin ct6(prs ce22 copy with ebony fretboard). Does anybody have any experience with those pickups split

I never heard one myself, but many say the JB is one of the best pups for split.

i own those two exact pickups in my brian moore ... i do not split them on their own, but rather in parallel combination (inners and outers) ... they sound terrific this way (no hum!) ... i use a 5-way P-type megaswitch

Yeah parallel is more fun, no noise and it is very very close to a splitsound.
