Alrighty. Thanks guys. I guess its not what I am looking for. =)
I think you should grab it. It's one of the best and most popular pedals for tele and strat players. It sounds fatter than unison, and that's what people like about it. The mosfet version is even more versatile, and the regular models are plenty versatile. Having two modes is nice too. The second mode can either be set low, as an extension of ch 1, or set high, which almost doubles as a fuzz pedal.
I think based on your word, I'll go get a FD mosfet. Will you buy it back if It doesnt work for me? :laugh2:
The best part about that pedal is that it's like a Swiss Army Knife of OD's. No matter what guitar and amp you use, you can dial it in to sound right, thanks to the 3 position switch in the middle. the 10th Ann. has even more versatility.
Tonight, I spent several hours with my strat w/Chubtone 69's, the cream FDII, and the Gibson Goldtone 30RVS. Tone heaven! It's so much better than a Tubescreamer, it's not even funny.
