^^ strong statement man hehe - take out the pickguard and look at the inside of the wood.. im willing to bet it's apples and oranges... the look of the wood from the side is totally different between MIM and MIJ fender IMO, i love the level of craftsmanship on the MIJs, i think i prefer the feel of these to the MIAs..
