Hello folks
How I can flush bridge tremolo adjustment on six screw tremolo? I don' t want to fixed bridge. When I push the tremolo to forward and come back to first position, it must be keep to tuning, intonation etc. adjustment. Also, can flush style bridge, using for change for tuning? My guitar on standart tuning, maybe change to EB tuning & D Tuning. Would be there any problem?
Thanks..

I always mine decked
Springs in back tight
Holding it down to the body
Dive only

Let's you change tuning and such
Break a string or whatever without tuning change
Obviously the strings would go a bit sharp if one broke
But not much

Only things I'd add to ehdwuld's post:

Go up to four springs on the claw, so you stretch each of them less - for heavy gauge strings, with only 3 springs you have to screw the claw quite close to the body.

In terms of the six-screws, depending on bridge, there may be a little bevel under the plate, so you don't want them screwed down too tight, but you don't want them so loose that there is play in the bridge (this is more of an issue when floating the bridge) When setting up traditional trems, I've always loosened off the center 4 screws completely and then set the 2 outer screws to "just right" (trial and error) - essentially setting the trem up as a 2-point pivot. Once it's working perfectly like that, returning to tune and not binding, I tighten the inner four screws until "just right" (typically, they'll be a little higher than the outer two, so that they only really engage the plate when the trem is in use (i.e. Reinforcing the 2 screws).

There are some great vids on YouTube covering trem setup, look for ones from the Fender Custom Shop.
