Just curious.... Do you play tube amps? I have had no luck with the Twin Tube feeding into tube amps. It works great on Solid State amps, particularly my Crate Powerblock Head, but it seems to not work well with either my Boogie Mark IV or my Epi Valve Junior.

i have a sd pickup booster, sd twintube classic, and a zen drive ... if i had bought the twintube first, i wouldnt have bought the zen ... but i am glad it worked out this way ... the zen is just killer as a smooth od for single line solos ... the ch 1 of the TC is my dirty rhythm and the ch2 of the ttc is my screamin massive gain tone

No man you are cool, 3 overdrives is not overkill. I hate it when I see/hear of someone having more than 10 overdrives , it's just OVERKILL instead of overdrive.

I have quite a few different flavors of overdrive too. Always fun to have options, but I only take 1 or 2 tops on my board live.

That works well if you have access to an amp with enough natural drive, but take a Tele to a Twin at sane volumes, an you might come up short.

That exlample would be for those times when you sit in, or get to a venue with a backline and that's all there is. I have an Ampeg Jet with tons of natural drive to bring with me, but that one time you don't have your own amp at a gig, it's nice to hedge your bets with a dirt box just in case.

None. I like the built in drive of my Line6 Soldano X88R model .

I do tend to have a distortion and a leadbooster on my pedalboard and that is it with drives
