I went with a 300w QSC power amp and a Blackstar cab. I mostly use the headphone jack, but live it's a different feel using a cab vs going into the PA, and although I love modeling, I still love the feel of a traditional amp.

Dang! I just counted 35. Clearly, the affect of this forum.
I have an MA modded BD2. I'm surprised that Monte doesn't get more exposure around here. Sweet mods.

I'm using it for jazz too. It's just a great piece of gear. Next month I'm playing bass for the musical at my college and I'm 90% I'm gonna be using that straight into the PA with my headphones for monitoring.

It's so versatile. I'm not saying that it sounds just like the real amps and pedals, but you'd be hard pressed to tell me it doesn't sound fantastic.

Maybe I'll update this thread with pics, because my pedal collection outgrew a board, onto a green glass book shelf.

I have 17 in use between my 2 boards. I may possibly move to 18 if space permits. Trying for 11 on the main board, 7 on the other. I have close to 30-35 all together. Need to do a full updated inventory and sell some.

Officially 18... Check out my NPD thread if you want to hear clips. I posted the builder's demo vid. I don't think he did much in the way of micing the amp, but the video still gives a pretty good idea of the sound.

I had a pedal purge and am now only down to two, a Purple Plexi Clone and a Mad Professor Golden Cello.
Does this count as a pedal? If it does, then one.
