How much could I get away with selling my marshall mg100hdfx for? it's older and i know its a crappy amp but do you think i could get away with selling it for at least 200? I found a cab that someone says has v30s in it and that would serve me much better than a cheap solid state head, and could i get more if i threw in the 4x12 cab and if so how much?

i saw a used mg100hdfx half stack today at GC for $300 so while $200 for just the head is probably too much, throw in the cab and ask $300 like GC and i bet you'll get a buyer.

I might try that! I mean i paid 200 for the halfstack so as long as i get more than that for it i'm good, If i can get a good v30 4x12 or 2x12, if not that i might just buy a single v30 and put it in my peavey ultra 112 that i intend to use as a head, also I can use some of the money to save for a noisegate if i dont get a cab

My philosophy about price tags at Guitar Center is that they are all at least 15% higher than what the street sale price is.

You post your ad for $300, some dude's gona google it, order it from guitar center and have it shipped to his front door. You put your ad up for $275, he's gona call you and offer $250.

Ah yeah I can see that happening... I've also done the opposite once haha I sold my epi lp junior for like $125 with a crappy peavey rage 158 practice amp for 125 when guitar center was selling the guitar for $89 new (Guitar 100 threw in the amp for 25)
