How much for a Purple 4X12 Hendrix Edition '97?

Its in good shape and he's asking best offer. Probably has the G12H-30's in there. How much should I offer him?

Offer him $500 today before he sells it to someone else. Any Marshall slant cab that goes to a limited set is worth $1000 just because of what it is.

I'd offer $700 (£350 ish), that's what I sold mine for. They have Greenbacks in.... only drawback in my opinion... build quality not so good (that's why I sold mine)... particle board back... NOT ply, though you could do that your self!! Goodluck.

I didn't want to insult him with a low ball offer so thats why I'm asking. Its a beautiful cab that will fit just nicely with my purple Bray 1987X. I think he's expecting a lot of cash for this cab though.

I threw out a lowball price, just because you never know if the guy is desperate to sell it, however $750 -$1000 is probably what he has in mind. Items like that sell quickly, so it's best to be diligent with cash in hand. Don't tell him about your Bray head till he's already sold it. If he knows you need this key piece, he'll have more bargaining power.

Normally, you can get him down a little, but he'll have his lowest price in his mind.
