How much longer?

I get building a 'tiny pedal board' as you 3rd or 4th fun hobby 'keep in the gig bag' board. Currently I use a Fly Rig for that, but I could have just as easily built a mini board to keep in case my main one goes down at a gig.

Tiny pedals are a risk to use live -I find them easy to break traveling and stomping on.

The Korg Pitchblack X Mini and TC Polytune Mini are especially terrible IME (great tuners but bad build quality for daily use)

When you build a pedal in a mini form factor you are most often forced to direct mount the PCB to the 1/4 jacks which is absolutely a mistake for gigging -fine for home and studio.

Wait, are you suggesting this isn't a "gigging musician's" board?!?!? :18:

Often true (definitely for anything out of China), but not always . . . that SP compressor that I mentioned:

Contrast and compare to the total garbage build that is a full sized modern MXR pedal (custom '78 distortion shown here, but most of their new pedals are made the same way):

yep -That Xotic build is excellent -they get it

I just saw a modded DS-1 on Reverb for sale at $200 that was clearly just a guy with a day job adding two diode switches.
