How much would you pay for this Strat?

I'm very strongly considering changing my rig (fewer pedals, different amp, etc), and one of the biggest changes would be a new Strat. I'm after a Japanese 60s RI (maybe a lefty and I'll string it righty ).

So, my current Strat is a 2003 Standard MIM with the following mods:

Fender Custom Shop '69s
Fender/Schaller Locking Tuners
Mighty Mite V-neck (large frets, feels great)
Official '60s Fender Strat decals
Graphite nut
Fender Tortoiseshell pickguard
Blood, sweat and tears

It's in great shape - there is a hairline crack about an 1/8" long near the neck pocket, and the finish is starting to 'relic' just a wee bit around right where your forearm rests. How much would it be worth/how much would you pay?

Tough to say...

Anywhere from $300-600 would be my guess with the "magic" number probably being in the $400-500 range.

You'll never get all the money that you sunk into mods (pickups & neck) back out of it and chances are it's a 'better' guitar then a '60's reissue. Can you afford to keep both? That's what I'd shoot for, especially if you aren't too sure of the lefty gone righty thing...it REALLY is a whole other world.
