Assuming it's used but in excellent condition, $1000, maybe a bit more. I love Hamers, but I prefer the regular Studio. I can live without block inlays, binding, and a more highly figured top in order to save $300-400 off the used price. I got my '94 Studio for $600.

Keep looking...a deal can be found!
They truly are a beautiful guitar! Very well made alternative to that OTHER company with the QC issues....

I paid $800 for mine, but $900 to $1000 is a little more usual. Great guitars! Lew

Anything around the $1K mark for a Studio Custom in good condition is pretty much standard. They can be had for less if you're patient, more if you're not. I agree about the regular Studios. I would rather save $300-$400 and go without the binding and crown/victory inlays (I got my Artist Korina HB for $600). You're only paying for cosmetics. That being said, when I have semi-unlimited funds, I would have no problem buying a Studio Custom.

Thanks for all your input. I am really ticked at myself for not putting a higher bid price on that guitar. At this point of my life, I am into cosmetics as well as quality and playability. So I will likely go for it. But it has to be Aztec Gold, which is rarer yet. Oh well. I shall keep my eyes open.
