How sounds the digitech x series hot rod pedal?

The boss ds-1 cost 39dls, the hot rod supposed to emulate the sound well and can sound like the pro co rat and another pedal and convine, but cost 89dls. Is it woths the money. Anyone have played one? I could soun good with a fender hot rod deluxe. I´ve heard tha t is a ver versatile pedal but how is the quality?
