how tight is the PATB-2 Distortion?

is the PATB-2 Distortion tight in the low-end?

would this be a good bridge humbucker for old-school thrash?

how much SuperD-like "graininess" does it have (if any)?

the guitar is a Jackson KE2 Kelly (USA). just want to try something different than the JB.

PATB-2 sounds as tight as Duncan Distortion, with a "honky" mid. Both are good for old-school thrash while I like PATB-2 better.

They sound like mid-to-late 80's metal while Dimarzio SuperD has more 70's and early 80's feel to my ears.
