I believe Skid Row used the same one as well for their first album.ADA MP-1 version 1 reportedly used later by Nuno for Pornograffiti. Mike Wagener Producing.

From the ADA it went into the McIntosh 2100 (transistor) poweramp and from there into a vintage Marshall 4x12 cab with the original G12H inside. At that time I normally used Fostex M11RP ribbon mics and Countryman Lavalier mics through a John Hardy M1 to record guitar.
I had a "Guitar for the Practicing Musician" mag ages ago too where he was talking about how he walked into a shop and bought a Fender strat without even plugging it in. From that point it got EMGs and a Floyd put in.I had a "Guitar for the Practicing Musician" mag ages ago in which Bratta detailed his setup for the Pride album. It was stupidly simple. Alder Strat with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Dimarzio HS-3 in the neck, Tubescreamer, Marshall Plexi. That's it.
That's what he used at the time of the interview. For Pride he said he used a stratocaster with an old Duncan humbucker. In that article above he says JB bridge and HS-3 neck. Pretty definitive for that time period I would say.
Damn, this thread is old.

I read somewhere it was a 59.
