Pulled the pair of Alnicos out of my old guitar and put them in the same box now don't remember which is which. They are going in my Mex Strat that has a standard wind SSL-5 in the bridge so--. One has a label that reads APS2 0297 then ICE30 base plate number is SD 2 02 think this is the standard wind. The other has just a white label with a 2 on the bottom and the bassplate is n stamped SD 2 01, think this is RW/RP. Am I right here guys??

A standard pickup will be repelled when you put it face to face with your SSL-5; an RW/RP will be attracted.

If you have a compass, the face of an RW/RP is north, while the face of a standard is south.

Yep engaged my brain and thought well as long as the middle pickup attracts and the neck repels got this! Thanks bro for the post though just came back after getting um in to post a reply. Sounds great and the humm is GONE with the middle and bridge bucker!!
