How To Safely Remove Duncan Logo

Re: How To Safely Remove Duncan Logo

I think the logo looks classy. It certainly makes my guitar look more money :fingersx:. I'm not taking it out!

If the bucker I'm ordering does not come with the logo, I special order it to HAVE the logo. I'm proud when people say...oh, Seymour Duncan's. It's just like Nike, or Coke or any other product. Each has a logo, and it's called marketing and proudct recognition. Be proud of what you buy from the duncan company.

I think fingernail polish removal used to use acetone but now seems to use a different solvent which smells like ethyl acetate to me.
Acetone wil melt some plastics and ethyl acetate will melt other types of plastic. Be careful is what I'm saying I guess.
For example: alcohol will mar some kinds of plastic but lighter fluid (naptha) will not hurt them. And naptha is a great guitar finish cleaner too. - Rob
